Ms. Alysa Sakkas - Recipient of the City of Cupertino CREST Lifetime Achievement Award

This is one that we are most proud to post, by far.  Our very own Cupertino-Toyokawa Sister Cities' President, Ms. Alysa Sakkas, is the Cupertino City CREST Lifetime Achievement Award Winner.  For those who know Alysa, we know this is so fittingly deserved.  Congrats, Alysa!

Press Release - 35th Cherry Blossom Festival on April 28-29, 2018

Cupertino-Toyokawa Sister Cities President, Ms.Alysa Sakkas, has released to the press and social media, official announcement of the 2018 Cherry Blossom Festival.  This is the organization's 35th Anniversary celebration of Japanese art, music, food and culture and sharing them with the Cupertino and surrounding communities. The festival will be held on April 28-29, 2018 at the Memorial Park, Quinlan Center, and the Senior Center, which will be transformed into the 'Japanese Pavilion'.

We are inviting Cupertino school student artists from grades 5th - 12th, to submit a visual artwork that incorporates the theme of Japanese cherry blossom festivities.  

The Cupertino-Toyokawa Sister Cities will use the winning piece as the official graphic on website, flyers, gifts, and merchandizes.   Each participant can submit up to 3 pieces.  The deadline to enter is 11/30/2017, 4pm.
